OxyGo FIT POC Review
The OxyGo FIT is the smaller version of the OxyGo POC, weighing only 2.8 pounds. It is small enough to be worn on the hip and quiet enough to go anywhere. We found the OxyGo FIT to be a very easy to use, simple, and lightweight POC at an affordable price point.
We gave the OxyGo FIT 4/5 stars. It loses points for only offering 3 flow settings, which might not work for a wide variety of oxygen users. The battery life was also very short, lasting only 2.7 hours with single battery. We will discuss these points later in the review, but overall we like the OxyGo FIT for its quality and affordability. Step #1 Review of the OxyGo FIT Portable Oxygen Concentrator from an OxyGo Dealer View
The OxyGo FIT is available through most authorized oxygen providers nationwide. The dealers that we spoke with were happy with the OxyGo FIT and thought it was a good purchase. The simple design, durable exterior, and LCD screen makes the FIT a quality device that is easy to set up and adjust when needed. It rarely has to be sent back for repair, and they noted that the battery and sieve beds are easy to replace from home. The dealers we spoke with also said that the pricing is affordable for the quality you are getting. Step #2 Technician Review OxyGo FIT Portable Oxygen Concentrator
The technicians we spoke with about the OxyGo FIT had very similar reviews as they did for the larger OxyGo system. They thought the OxyGo FIT was a well made POC. The setup process is quick and straightforward. One technician mentioned that he had a customer who was having issues with the battery life being too short, so the customer switched from the single battery to the double battery. Purchasing a double battery will be a little more expensive in the beginning, but the customers we spoke with recommended going ahead and purchasing the extra battery if you plan to travel or be away from a charger for more than a few hours. The single battery only lasts 2.7 hours, which can be a problem if you’re away from a charger. A double battery will extend battery life to 5 hours.
Step #3 Seniors Review of OxyGo FIT Portable Oxygen Concentrator
We spoke with 2 seniors who used the OxyGo FIT POC. Both said that the best feature of the FIT is that it is very lightweight and easy to use. One customer mentioned that she didn’t like the shorter battery life with the single battery, which lasts 2.7 hours, so she switched to a double battery and could go 5 hours before needing to charge. This customer liked that she could charge the battery in her car or plug it in at home.
Step #4 Overall Review by Senior Reviews OxyGo FIT Portable Oxygen Concentrator
The OxyGo FIT is a good choice for those of us with active lifestyles. We like that this POC is very small and lightweight. It is also very quiet and can be worn on the hip so it very discreet and easy to take with you everywhere. One concern we have is that it only offers 3 flow settings and might not be the best option for all oxygen users, depending on prescription requirements. It is important to consult with a physician to ensure the POC will meet your oxygen needs. Overall, Seniors Reviews gives the OxyGo FIT Portable Oxygen Concentrator 4/5 stars.
